Affairs of the Heart

Seems like I am not the only who is bothered by it. A good friend, N Boy called me at midnight to tell me his side of the story. Mind you, not to ask for advice or solution but merely to tell his side of the story. Well the story goes, that he met a girl whom he suspected to be on a rebound and he had been giving in the relationship and she was on the receiving end. He feels fine by it just worried that he might get too deep to do himself any good. She is not the selfish sort, she apparently volunteers with some organisations. This, I felt that I have to rebute, the way she handles social responsibilities might not necessary be the way she handles her own love life, if that is the case then why is our N Boy giving and not receiving?

Someone asked me a brain cracking question today. What's the difference between love and in love? Oh man, who thinks of that? Well, I cracked what is left of my little brain to think of a witty answer.

Love: If I love somebody, I let him go
In love: When I am in love with somebody, I let him know.

However, that someone was not convinced by what I said. Guys, what do they know about love?So I rephrase the explanation in the best way I possibly could and I thought it was brillant.

Love: Your Dad loves your Mum.
In love: You are in love with your gf.

Obviously that someone had no idea of what I am saying. Or rather he did not want to understand cos he said this next We have to meet face to face to discuss this. Oh.
